Golden Arrows Bus Services now 160 years as a bus services provider, providing road based public transport to the community of Cape Town. It is positioned as one of a few privately owned companies that have provided public transport services in a South African metropolitan environment.

  • Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Information Technology

Eligibility Criteria 


  • You must be a South African Citizen 
  • You must be doing your Matric or must have matriculated. 
  • You must either be planning on enrolling full-time or already enrolled full-time at a tertiary instution.
  • You must be enrolled in one of the fields mentioned above.

  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation expenses
  • Book allowance

Application Process


Download the Golden Arrow Bus Services application form. Complete it carefully and when you have completed your application, submit it with the required documentation. Submit it via email to Kyle Abrahams at the email - kyleabrahams@gabs.co.za 

Documentation required when uploading 


  • A fully completed application form for the bursary.
  • A copy of the applicants’ 11th-grade results in the case of Matriculants.
  • A copy of Matric or 12th-grade results for students applying or planning on applying to a university for a course in one of the above fields.
  • A copy of your latest academic results if the student is already enrolled in a tertiary institution.
  • Proof of registration if you are a first-year student at a South African university.
  • Students who are not enrolled in a university must send a copy of their university acceptance letter.
  • A certified copy of the student’s ID.
  • A copy of the applicant’s Curriculum vitae (CV)
