It provides a range of full-time and short courses in Graphic Design, Web Design and Development, Game and Interactive Media Development or Concept Art. It is recognised as a centre of Higher Education registered with the Department of Higher Education, as well as holding national and international industry accreditation.

Higher Certificate in Graphic Design Bursary: for students who love design, illustration and are creative problem solvers:

Field of study: Web Design and Graphic Design
Duration: 1 year, full-time

Coverage value: R76 800

Game Design Bursary: for students who have a keen interest in game design

Field of study: Game Design
Duration: 1 year, full-time
Starting date: 31 January 2022

Eligibility Criteria For The Academy Of Digital Arts Bursary 

The following are the minimum requirements for the bursary programme. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, your application will not be considered.

Higher Certificate in Graphic Design Bursary

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be have a love for design and illustration
  • You must be a create problem-solver
  • You must show talent and passion within the digital arts industry

Game Design Bursary

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be have a love for game design
  • You must show talent and passion within the digital arts industry
