Creator Operations Intern

Responsibilities 

  • Use data and platform tools to identify high potential Creators on TikTok.
  • Help support and coordinate creator programs.
  • Respond to and deal with creator technical issues. 
  • Support the education and development of different creator communities.
  • Research and education of the creator ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree, graduating in 2022
  • Experience as a creator, or insight into local creators' experience when creating content
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • A good team player and fast learner
  • Strong interest in digital creators and the local content ecosystem. 

Music Operations Intern

Responsibilities 

  • Playlist and sound page banner curation and updates.
  • Artist, label, and distributor collaborations and onboardings.
  • Music campaign, ideation, support and planning.
  • Backend music library support.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree, graduating in 2022
  • Experience in the African music industry.
  • Good understanding of digital music promotion.
  • Has extensive knowledge of music in Africa - mainly South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya.
  • Has a TikTok account and some understanding of how music is promoted on TikTok.
  • Has experience working with artists.
  • Able to work well in a team.
  • Fluency in English.

Editorial and Operations Intern

Responsibilities 

  • Review in-app content, pull comprehensive data reporting, ideate content ideas and help to guide the content strategy;
  • Help to maintain regional master calendars;
  • Facilitate day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of issues;
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to create concepts for current and future projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree, graduating in 2023
  • Strong English and Zulu skills in both verbal and written;
  • Ability to Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint);
  • A good team player and fast learner;
  • Strong interest in digital creators and public figures, understanding the media landscape is a huge plus.

Insights Intern

Responsibilities 

  • Review videos for valuable insights to support our core operations, creators and content.
  • Pick up potential threats and safety issues as they happen off app
  • Must be able to keep up with trending events of the day and give valuable insights.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree, graduating in 2023
  • Passionate about TikTok
  • Knowledge of popular trends and music
  • Must know more than 2 languages, including English
  • Must have an eye for detail
