About The Seriti Scholarship 2023

They are inviting students, to apply for their scholarship programme for 2023.

Fields Covered By The Seriti Scholarship 

The following fields are covered by the scholarship programme.
Any field of study will be covered by the scholarship.

Expenses Covered By The Seriti Scholarship 

The following expenses will be covered by the scholarship programme:
  • Tuition fees
  • Book allowance
  • Accommodation and meals.
*The bursary will NOT cover any outstanding tuition fees or previous year’s failed subjects/ modules.*
Note: You are NOT obligated to work back or repay the scholarship after graduation.

Eligibility Criteria For The Seriti Scholarship 

The following are the minimum requirements. If you do not meet the following requirements your application will not be considered.

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  • You must be studying or intend on studying full time towards an Undergraduate Degree or Diploma
  • You must be studying or have been provisionally accepted to study at a registered tertiary institution in South Africa (University or University of Technology)
  • You must have a strong academic record
  • You must NOT be receiving NSFAS funding
  • You must NOT be receiving any other bursary, scholarship or sponsorship
  • You must NOT be studying towards a bridging course
  • Preference will be given to students within Seriti’s communities


Documents Required For The Seriti Scholarship 

The following documents are required for the Seriti Scholarship, and you must submit clear copies of them along with your scholarship application. If you  do not submit all the following documentation your application will not be considered.

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Matric latest results, if currently in Matric (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate, if completed Matric (certified copy)
  • Latest tertiary academic record, if currently at tertiary level (certified copy)
  • Short Curriculum Vitae
  • Proof of provisional acceptance or registration at a University or University of Technology (on institutions letterhead)
  • Proof of residence (copy of municipal water & lights/ letter from a Council member or Chief)
