Standard Bank Learnership presents a gateway for unemployed South African matriculants and graduates to embark on a transformative journey within the financial services sector. This immersive 12-month program offers invaluable exposure to various roles within Standard Bank branches and offices nationwide, fostering professional growth and skill development. Tailored for aspiring banking professionals, the learnership equips participants with essential competencies, including time management and collaborative teamwork, essential for success in the dynamic banking environment.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria

  • Age requirement: 18 to 30 years old
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Completed Grade 12 (matric) or equivalent qualification
  • Specific qualification requirements depending on the role
  • Computer literate
  • Not permanently employed or enrolled in another institution or learnership

How to Apply 

  1. Register your profile and complete the online application form on the Standard Bank Graduate site
  2. Complete the online assessment and have at least 60% mark.
  3. After passing the online assessment, the applicants will be contacted to perform competency-based tests.
  4. The final step of the application process will require a face-to-face interview.

Applications done in any other method except for online application will be rejected.
