ABOUT THE BURSARY PROVIDER – PSG

PSG is a top financial services group, providing services such as financial planning, investments, unit trusts, stockbroking, life insurance, healthcare, estate and trust services, personal and commercial short term insurance. The company has been operating since 1998, and currently has more than 250 offices throughout South Africa, as well as a presence in Namibia.

The companies services are split into 3 major categories: “PSG Insure” for commercial and personal short-term insurance; “PSG Wealth” for individual, family and business wealth management services; and “PSG Asset Management” for global funds, segregated portfolios and local unit trusts for individuals and institutions.

ABOUT THE PSG BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED

PSG is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2025 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded for studies within the following fields:

  • Actuarial Science
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mathematical Science
  • Mechanical Engineering

    The bursary will provide cover for the following expenses: registration fees, tuition fees, accommodation, book allowance and a monthly allowance. 

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PSG BURSARY

    Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

    • You must be a South African citizen
    • You must have completed Matric or be currently in Matric
    • You must be studying or intend on studying towards a BSc degree, within one of the fields of study listed above
