About The Shoprite Medirite Learnership Position 

In this position you are to assist the pharmacist in dispensing and to perform pharmacy-related administrative duties.

Requirements For The Shoprite Medirite Learnership Position 

  • Grade 12 – English and Mathematics preferably
Please Note: Experience in a Pharmacy would be advantageous

Responsibilities 

  • Stock control,
  • Dispensing (under supervision of pharmacist),
  • Administration,
  • Housekeeping
  • Frontshop service
  • Related administrative tasks pertaining to document flow and housekeeping tasks

Competencies 

  • Dispensing knowledge
  • Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems
  • Computer literacy – MS Office skills
  • Good language skills – fluent in English and at least one other official language would be advantageous
  • Very good interpersonal and customer skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Sound numerical skills
