About TTI 

It is a bursary management firm. Who aim to provide skills development bursaries to students on behalf of large enterprises. They provide assistance to students by ensuring that they have the means to access opportunities to further their studies in higher education. The companies major partners include: FNB, Old Mutual, Transnet, Metropolitan Health, Momentum, CETA, InSETA, merSETA, MQA and more.

About The TTI Bursary 

They are inviting students to apply for bursary funding. 

Studies Covered By The TTI Bursary

  • Undergraduate (and sometimes Postgraduate) qualifications, at public Universities
  • Universities of Technology
  • Technical Vocational Education aand Training (TVET)
  • Agricultural Colleges

Expenses Covered By The TTI Bursary 

It provides cover for the following expenses: 
  • Tuition fees
  • All study related materials
  • Accommodation
  • A monthly allowance for meals or transport.

Eligibility Criteria For The TTI Bursary

The following are the minimum requirements for the bursary programme. If you do not meet the requirements, your application will not be considered. 
  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be accepted or registered to study at a public University, University of Technology, Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) or Agricultural Colleges, that is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)
  • You must be studying towards your first Degree qualification (applicable for undergraduate students)
  • You must be Black (i.e. African, coloured or Indian, in accordance with the B-BBEE codes)
  • You must be from a previously disadvantaged background or from the “missing middle” (i.e. parents or guardians have a total annual income of between R350 000 and R600 000)
  • You must have excellent academic results
  • Preference will be given to students with a strong academic record

Documents Required For The TTI Bursary 

The following documents are required for the bursary programme. If you do not submit all the required documents along with your. Your application will not be considered.
  • South African Identity Document (certified copy)
  • Proof of acceptance or registration to a tertiary institution of your choice (on institutes letterhead)
  • Full academic record, including your most recent available results (on institutes letterhead)
  • Profile photo (head and shoulders shot)
