It was founded in 2010 to help previously disadvantaged young women of colour by funding their tertiary education. It also supports students to enhance their lives as young South African women.

They are inviting students, to apply for their bursary programme for the 2023 academic year.

  • Civil Engineering

  • Industrial Engineering

Expenses Covered By The SEDISA Trust Bursary Programme

The following expenses are covered by the bursary programme:
  • Tuition
  • Accommodation
  • Books costs.

Eligibility Criteria For The SEDISA Trust Bursary Programme.

  • The following are the minimum requirements. If you do not meet the following requirements your application will not be considered.
  • Black Female (base on BBBEE codes)
  • South African Citizen
  • Strong academic track record
  • Economically disadvantaged

1.Prepare the following documents:

  •     Proof of registration at an institution of study
  •     Fee Statement
  •     List of study costs
  •     Certified copy of academic transcripts/matric certificate
  •     Curriculum Vitae (CV

Closing Date For The SEDISA Trust Bursary Programme 

The closing date for the bursary programme is 15 January 2023. If you submit an application after the closing date your application will not be considered. Apply as soon as you can and good luck.
