Intern Internal Sales :
Job Description
- The intern would be required to assist the Internal Sales Team with placement of advertising time/slots to existing and potential clients within assigned company processes.
- Furthermore the intern would be required to ensure deliverables are available for play out across all channels.
- The incumbent will also be required to assist within the log scheduling department of Internal sales to timeously
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build, support and maintain interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives
- Complete Individual Development Plan. Attend learning and development courses. Participate in peer and team learning initiatives.
- Comply with work rules, standards and methods. Take care to minimise waste.
- Providing effective and efficient service to internal team members and existing and potential clients.
- Assisting with the maintaining and administering of daily incoming client orders and flighted applications across platforms.
- Recommending alternative spots/programming to clients (upselling applications) to secure revenue.
- Processing client order applications.
- Issuing order confirmation to clients for billing purposes and obtain client confirmation.
- Issuing client contracts and ensure accuracy.
- Ensuring application changes are documented. and re-issuing order confirmation when needed.
- Loading flighting codes and ensure the material is delivered to the Transfers department to ensure timeous playout.
- Checking schedules continuously to ensure correct material is flighted.
- Issuing availability reports and certificates for flighted promotions when requested.
- Adhering to set internal and external policies to limit overbooking.
- Maintaining good relationships with external sales executives and other relevant stakeholders.
