Job Description

  • Langston Motorsports is a leading motorcycle accessory and parts distributor in South Africa, focusing on Premium international brands.
  • Looking for someone hardworking and motivated to manage the warehouse logistics and process orders from customers

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Quotations & Invoicing & Collections.
  • Assist Reps.
  • Assistant to Manager.
  • Answering and transferring of calls when Reception is busy.
  • Creating sales and upselling of products.
  • Creating & maintaining relationship with dealers.
  • Constant self-learning and understanding of product ranges.
  • Stock control, including stock management and deliveries.
  • Managing of the warehouse according to the systems, policies and procedures.
  • Picking of stock, obtaining quotations for courier costs, checking all stock that leaves the warehouse.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is organized in the agreed method and that the stock flow is managed in an effective way.
  • Back Orders & Sales Orders Management
  • Stock Takes and Hazard Counts as per the agreed procedures.
  • Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received.
  • Maintains safe work environment according to company and labour procedures.
  • Book couriers for delivery of our products to motorcycle dealers around the country
  • Dispatching of stock to our customers (Motorcycle dealers)
  • Book Collections for return of products from customers
  • Receiving stock into the warehouse, counting and checking that all items are in order
  • Assist with boxing of the stock when workers are busy
  • Load & Assist our Drivers with trip sheets

Requirements 

  • 3 Years experience in automotive sales.
  • Grade 12
  • Computer Literate
  • Fully proficient in English
  • Ability to work with numbers
  • Professional Appearance
  • Friendly and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and put in extra efforts to meet tight deadlines
  • Detail Orientated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication ability
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to multi-task
  • ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
