To drive factory vehicle as per laid out daily task sheet.


Duties & Responsibilities


•Complete the daily clamp truck checklist and identify any problems on the checklist.

•Draw attention to the Operations Controller/supervisor of the problem areas.

•Check list must be signed by Operations Controller daily.

•Ensure that clamp truck has required fuel & Oil per shift.

•Ensure that reels/bales are taken off/on the line timeously

•Be aware of the reels/bales in each location in each warehouse/storage location to ensure the reels/bales are moved to the correct location and that there are no delays.

•Ensure Reels/Bales are loaded/offloaded in the demarked area only.

•Handle reels/bales per stacking and storage procedure.

•Create space in the reel store for new reels/bales coming off production lines.

•Perform additional duties as and when required by supervisor.

•Identify reject reels/bales coming off the production/truck as shown on the labels and physical inspection.

•Assist with stock counts.

•Conduct moisture testing when required.

•Conduct housekeeping.

•Clean the clamp truck on each shift.

•Report any safety issues.

•Report any incidents.


Desired Experience & Qualification


•Matric or equivalent (RPL),

•Valid Forklift license,

•1 year forklift driving experience,

•Understanding of Warehousing Principles,

• Knowledge & Understanding of Inventory Management systems
