Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Directing and escorting clients from reception area to meeting rooms
  • Answer switchboard, screen and direct calls
  • Take and relay messages (electronic – written – verbal) for office & remote working staff
  • Provide accurate information to callers
  • Greet and direct persons entering organization
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • General administrative and clerical support (National courier control, telephone reports)
  • Receive and sort postal mail and deliveries
  • Assist with setting up meetings, video conference bookings and function arrangements
  • Tidy and maintain the reception area
  • Assist with event co-ordination, catering and hosting of clients
  • Co-ordinating contractors with office repair requirements
  • Assist with administrative and health & safety (safety rep & first aid) requirements
  • Fulfil any reasonable request in relation to the Receptionist, Switchboard operator and Client liaison job function

 Requirements

  • Preferably should be in possession of a Relevant Tertiary qualifications
  • 2 – 3 years Switchboard, Reception or related Client service experience
  • Proven track record of customer service principles and client liaison practices
