Job Description

  • The Employee shall be engaged as a Tele Sales Agent. The Employee shall, at all times, perform their duties in a diligent, satisfactory and responsible manner ensuring that the interests of the Employer are protected and ensuring that the good name and standing of the Employer is maintained. The Employee will report to the Managing Director of the Employer, or such other person as may be designated.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell, cross and up-sell products to customers using the telephone as a medium.
  • Understand and assist with implementing the marketing strategy of the Employer.
  • Obtain a thorough knowledge of the products of the Employer.
  • Interact regularly with other departments to assure full understanding of sales process.
  • Accurately capture customer and potential customer detail.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales process and share learnings with other agents and team leaders.
  • Formulate own learning needs and discuss these with the Executive Director.
  • Pro-actively seek out new ways of promoting the Employer’s products.
  • Maintain record of calls made and the results of the call.
  • Provide daily reports on the targets achieved.
  • Undertake such other work as may be assigned to you by the Employer from time to time. Such work can be outside the area of your normal.
